The Pacific trade winds cool the air and the surrounding waters are clear and inviting. Scuba divers and snorkel enthusiasts can easily explore expansive reefs and study the colorful, mysterious sea creatures that live there.

Kahaluu Beach on the Big Island is one of the best sites for snorkeling. With powdery white sand, crystal clear waters, and rainbow colored fish what more could you want? You can even rent your snorkeling gear at a beach side stand.

Kee Beach on the island of Kauai is a perfect choice if you want to enjoy a little solitude on your next beach outing. According to Hawaiian legend this is the place where Pele fell in love with a Kauai chief.

This is where you will find the Pink Palace, Diamond Head and the site of the region's last known human sacrifice. Get past this unappetizing memory and discover why surfers continue to flock to the shores of Waikiki.

Pauoa Beach is a top beach for swimmers and the waters remain calm and gentle because this famous lagoon has large rocky outcrops that protect it the tumultuous surf. There are some beautiful tropical fish that will join you for a swim around the coral reef.

Hulopoe Beach is located on the island of Lanai and is widely regarded as one of the best places for snorkeling and diving. If you want to see a dolphin this is the beach that you should visit.
